G'Day Mate!

Melonie and I send greetings from Down Under to all of our friends and family. We are in the beautiful city of Sydney, AU for the Hillsong Conference. What a powerful time of experiencing God's presence in Worship and the preaching of the Word. We have been refreshed, challenge, and worked over by the Holy Spirit.

The theme of the conference has been on "The Heart of God," "The Heart of the Believer" and “God’s Heart for the Church.”. The heart of God is that none should perish and if we as believers are tuned into the Heart of God, then the Heart of the Believer should also be about reaching the unchurched.

It truly has been one of the most impactful weeks of our lives. We serve a big God that so loves the church.

1 Kings 9:3 (NIV) The LORD said to him: "I have heard the prayer and plea you have made before me; I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting my Name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.

The eyes and the heart of God are on us as a church. Great days are ahead of us as a church. Let’s continue to be the church that God calls us to be.

Thanks for your prayers for us. We leave nest week to be with Mark and Bev Hefter in PNG. We look forward to a special time with a very special couple from our church. Continue to pray for Mark and his back issue.

I will be keeping up on this blog every other day while we are gone. Our prayers are with you.
In His service,

Pastors Brent & Melonie
